]]>Cement contains alkali which can cause degradation of the glass fibres; Mesh4’s render mesh has an alkaline-resistant starch coating which adds to the benefits of making our render mesh a brilliant anti-crack reinforcement system.
It is heavy duty yet light weight which enables ease of application, storage and handling – it can also be easily cut with scissors.
Produced in Italy, this Tenax product has been rewarded with the ITC-CNR quality mark in compliance with the requirements included in the ETAG 004 guide and can be used for plaster in the ETICS systems. This mark certifies the product quality along with the high constant standards during its production process.

]]>The post Plastic Pavers appeared first on Mesh4.
]]>These paving grids are SUDS compliant and do not require any planning permission. Due to their cell structure these permeable pavers allow water to drain freely making an ideal environment for grass growth and an ideal solution to a surface where water run-off is an issue. They also benefit from having a ‘ground spike’ which helps resist any movement when in use.
A sub-base does need to be prepared before installation of our paving grid system, please read the installation instructions here. When having a grass finish the plastic grids protect each blade of grass at the root and only the grass blades themselves are exposed which increases the structural integrity of the grass and helps with grass growth, bald patches and erosion. The cellular structure also prevents any soil and flowers from being washed away as they stay contained in the pavers. When having a gravel finish the cells ensure the gravel is contained tightly preventing gravel displacement and bare empty patches.

These gravel pavers/grass pavers can withstand constant pedestrian and vehicular traffic of up to 40 tonnes per m2 and are ideal to be used for the following applications:
Our plastic driveway grids are chemically inert, rot resistant and UV/weather resilient so will withstand years of use. They are light, quick and easy to install and will not crack (subject to the 40 tonnes per m2 limit) therefore a great cheap effective way of stabilising ground, encouraging grass growth and making an aesthetically pleasing and easy to manage path, walkway or driveway.

]]>The post Benefits of Rubber Mats & Grass Mats appeared first on Mesh4.
]]>It has a vast range of applications
Ideal for parks and playgrounds as it is critical fall height certified, tested by RAPRA in accordance with BS EN 1177.
Brilliant for swimming pools and any wet areas due to its excellent anti slip properties, the holes also allow for water to be drained down to the base.
An effective solution for walkways and footpaths which have become slippery. Rubber mats can be laid onto flat or undulating well drained ground and are resistant to all weather conditions. When laid onto grass they also provide protection to the grass roots underneath enabling grass growth and the ring structure allows the grass to grow through the mat.
Suitable for wheelchair access routes, enabling a soft even surface for the user to manoeuvre easily.

]]>The post Millennium Sterling Fence appeared first on Mesh4.
]]>This strong fencing is an alternative to wire, galvanised chain link and welded mesh fencing in appearance and strength making it a brilliant replica metal fence. Its extremely high tensile strength and tear and breach resistance is due to the manufacturing process it undergoes thanks to the molecular orientation of the threads in both directions.

Unlike its metal counterparts it will not rust or corrode and is also UV stabilised and not affected by saline corrosion which makes it ideal in coastal areas. It also has a built in memory of polymer structures, meaning it will quickly resume its natural shape if knocked or crushed.

This fencing is also ideal for bio architecture and for fencing areas with particular problems of electromagnetism such as airports, industrial areas and places where radar systems are in use.

]]>Our local zoo, Chester Zoo has used our plastic turf reinforcement mesh as a fence surrounding some animal enclosures making it a dual purpose product. From the pictures below, the wooden fence with the extra reinforcement of our plastic protection mesh makes it the ideal safe, aesthetically pleasing fencing with the ‘green’ look it blends into the natural environment. The fencing has a thickness of 5mm and due to its main use for grass protection it has a high roll weight of 640gm/m2, making it a heavy duty product doubling the weight of our other plastic fencing we do. Its rot resistant and chemically inert and 100% recyclable. The fencing has been up for a few years now and these pictures were only taken a few days ago so you can see the quality and longevity of the product.

The picture below shows a comparison to some metal fencing which has been used, as you can see its rusted and doesn’t look as natural, making the environment look more captive. Whereas our plastic mesh has still retained its colour and structure and blends perfectly into the greenery behind the fencing.

Chester Zoo have also made use of a lot of natural screening, such as bamboo, brushwood and willow, the photo collage below shows examples of it being used internally in animal enclosures, externally on gates and as screening in front of the main fencing.
